Traffic Control Driver:
This may not include all the work examples given, nor does the list include all that may be assigned.
The Traffic Control Driver role is a trainee level who performs skilled roadway Traffic Control activities. An employee performs daily and routine work assignments following established procedures. Work may involve the use of road maintenance signing and road construction equipment and technology.
Installs and repair temporary signs.
Set up and remove permanent traffic barriers.
Direct and Control traffic around maintenance and construction projects.
Operate and transport equipment, materials and supplies.
Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Maintain field equipment.
We want you to join the SAFETY SIGNS, LLC team if you can say yes to the following:
Must have a valid Class D Driver’s License.
Commercial Class A Driver’s License – preferred but not required.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Must have working knowledge of English sufficient enough to read, write, speak and understand oral and written information.
Must have good mechanical aptitude
You must be willing and able to lift up to 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects and/or tools weighing 50 pounds.
You must be willing and able to walk or stand to a significant degree on rough terrain.
$$$$ – ability to work long hours during Spring/Summer/Fall months
