School Bus Driver Full Time

Schmitty & Sons is seeking safety minded, dependable and friendly folks to join our driving team with District 194 at our Lakeville garage for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year, as well as this current summer season. If you are retired, a veteran, a stay at home parent, or someone looking for a new career, this job is for you!

Primary duties will be daily school bus routes for elementary, middle & high school. There is always extra field trips, band trips, and sports teams trips to earn extra money as well. If you are interested but do not have the proper licensing, don’t let that stop you, the right person can be easily trained and licensed!

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a
• DOT physical
• Drug test
• Background check
• Tell time and keep a timely schedule
• Read, write, and speak in English
• Make quick, safe decisions with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Have a positive attitude and be a team player
