To provide routine to semi-skilled seasonal work in the Parks Divisions.
Positions available April – October. Up to 40 hours a week.
First review of applicants will be January 25th 2022.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Positions that qualify as Maintenance II:
Ball field dragging – operate equipment to maintain all of the City ball fields for daily games and tournaments.
Operation of large rotary mowers – operate large mowers to maintain the City parks and facilities.
All positions will be expected to perform other various duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Some knowledge of the tools, methods and materials used in general maintenance.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
Ability to operate a variety of motorized vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
Physical strength sufficient to complete the tasks assigned during varying weather conditions.
