Art Instructor Full Time Part Time

This position is for a visual arts instructor for the Lakeville Area Arts Center. We offer programs
for both youth and adults in all mediums; such as painting, drawing, ceramics and fiber arts.
Currently we are experiencing high growth in painting and ceramics.

Instructor Pay is calculated at $3.50 x total # of instructor hours x # of students.
For example: $3.50 x 10 instructor hours x 10 students = $350
Instructors specializing in a specific medium are paid contractually.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years of age or older.
degree or coursework leading to a degree in art or art education or equivalent experience.
experience teaching visual art to students in a classroom or workshop setting.
Must have strong time management and communications skills.
Strong experience in providing great customer service.
