About Scott County Youth Employment Program

About the Program

The MN DEED Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) provides out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 24 and in-school youth between the ages of 14 and 21 with year-round employment and training services. The WIOA Young Adult Program provides experience and academic enrichment activities. Participants will receive services that assist in key areas such as learning work maturity skills, writing a resume, learning how to interview for a job, growing problem-solving skills, and engaging counseling and support services.
